Chinese New Year

It’s a tradition in China to give Hongbao (red envelopes with money inside)
to relatives during the New Year as a sign of respect and appreciation.

Being a polite relative and declining the money has also become part of the tradition.

This is Nike’s first commercial for Chinese New Year, about a young girl
politely declining a Hongbao from her auntie, year after year.
